The Sikh Temple of Yuba City in Yuba City, California was opened on October 21, 1969, and serves over 20,000 Sikhs in the area which is home to many Sikhs and Punjabis. The Gurdwara has a main Langar hall and prayer hall. There is a playground, a park area to do prayer walks on its paved pathways, or just enjoy the outdoors in a park-like setting. Plenty of parking in the wrap-around lot, and even more parking across from the Temple. Views of the Sutter Buttes, and orchards that blossom with fragrance and beautiful white and pink flowers. The Temple is open to the public but must cover your head and take off your shoes (provided headscarfs, and shoe cubbies available) to enter.
