The second largest population in Yuba County, and was incorporated in 1874. With history including the Mexican-American War, livestock trading and ranching, railroad, and California's gold rush, this place has a profoundness in time. Over 78 percent of the city’s housing was built prior to 1960 and only 14 percent has been built since 1975.
